Mindfulness in the Workplace

About this master class:

We can all agree that the pace of life seems to be getting faster and faster. This is more evident at ever in a busy workplace where deadlines and urgency are the new norm. Our brain is not designed for that much stress. Our brain is not designed for multi-tasking. Our brain cannot cope with the constant urgent demands in every corner of our life. Welcome to the new world of ‘overwhelm’ It doesn’t have to be that way.

You may have heard the expression ‘ you need to slow down so you can speed up’ It’s time to slow down and be more ‘mindful’

Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens. When we practice mindfulness, our thoughts tune into what we’re sensing in the present moment rather than rehashing the past or imagining the future.

In other other words we need to stop and smell the roses, in old terms. In this master class we introduce you to much more than mindful techniques, we introduce you the causes of overwhelm and how to get back on top of things so you can enjoy work and life to the fullest.
