Business Etiquette

About this master class:

When do I hand my business cards out at a networking event? How exactly do I  introduce my boss or work colleagues to others? Should I pay for the coffee at my business meeting? Do I need to wear a tie to the next board meeting? I think I’m going to be late, should I call, email or text? Should I know all this stuff if I’m in my position? Don’t worry, most people don’t know all the answers, that’s why they go to business etiquette training so we can help you fast track the ‘rules of business’

Etiquette is really just manners and how to behave in a given situation.  However in business there are a few ‘rules of business’ that you should learn and put into practice if you are wanting to build and maintain relationships and protect your reputation. Many business people do not even realise when they are slipping up and this could impact on whether someone chooses or not to do business with you and your organisation.

Unfortunately many etiquette rules are no longer taught at school and at home and we find ourselves struggling to know how to act in many personal and business situations. When you know the rules of business, you are more confident in your interactions with others and appear more self assured in your business offerings.  Don’t let your lack of social graces and business etiquette knowledge get in the way of doing business.
